What the property settlement dossier includes
Record assets and debts, attach supporting material and review proposed values and arrangements. Both partners confirm their own decisions. Download the current record as a PDF or export shared item records as CSV. The sample property settlement report shows the output, including unresolved entries.
A 14-day refund policy
Request a full refund within 14 days of payment by emailing help@equity.me with your payment reference. Refunded dossiers lose paid access. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Access lasts 12 months without automatic renewal.
Professional services are separate
The fee covers software. It does not include legal advice, an appraisal, mortgage approval or a property transfer. Budget for those services with the relevant providers.
The house buyout process explains where the report fits. There is also a separate offering for mediators and lawyers, whose price has not been confirmed.
How the fee is shared between partners
One partner pays the US$39 upfront. In a US dollar dossier, the fee is added to Costs without confirmations. For another currency, record the actual converted amount from the payment statement; Equity.me does not invent an exchange rate. After both confirm, the financial balance includes the reimbursement needed to share that fee equally. Other paid costs can have their own agreed split. A manual entry records a payment; it does not charge a card.
Equity.me has no broker referral or mortgage matching service. Read about the property settlement tool and its financial data and privacy policy before creating a dossier.
